The EducationUSA Information and Advising Center at the Centro Boliviano Americano in Cochabamba provides the following services to people interested in continuing their education in the United States.

EDUCATIONAL ADVISING SERVICES

• Access to a complete reference collection of books and catalogues about educational institutions in the United States.
• Information on more than 3,500 accredited institutions, including the most complete collection of catalogues in CD-ROMs.
• Advising on how to plan your education and to finance it.
• Specialized search on CD-ROM and the Internet of study programs at colleges and universities in the United States.
• Access to videos, CD-ROMs and other publications with information about study in the United States.
• Individual and group advising.
• Information about scholarship programs and financial aid for undergraduate (Bachelors) and graduate (Masters) programs such as the Undergraduate Placement & Scholarship Program (PAUUSA), Fulbright, AAUW Educational Foundation and others.
• Information about exchange programs such as AFS: Intercultural Programs.

SPECIAL SERVICES

• Pre-departure Orientation.
• Special sessions to work on your academic profile.
• Orientation and administration of international examinations: TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language); ECCE (Examination for the Certificate on Competency in English); ECPE (Examination for the Certificate of Proficiency in English).
• Information on the following tests: GRE (Graduate Record Examination); GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test); ECFMG (Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates; (MCAT (Medical College Admission Test); SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test).
• International Visitor Service. This service provides help to admissions officers, international student counselors or university representatives who are interested in visiting and establishing contacts with local schools, universities, individuals and agents.
