The Centro Boliviano Americano “CBA” is a non-profit Binational
Institution founded in Cochabamba on August 23, 1957.
It is officially recognized by the Bolivian Government
with the Supreme Resolution Nº 119735.
The
CBA in Cochabamba is a member of the Bolivian Federation
of Binational Institutions (FEBI) which unites similar
centers in Santa Cruz,
La Paz, Sucre,
Tarija and the Public Affairs Section (PAS) at the United
States of America Embassy in La Paz. It is also a member
of the Association of Latin American Binational Centers
(ABLA).
The
mission of the Centro Boliviano Americano is to promote
the development of education and fine arts and to foster
the relations between countries, specially between Bolivia
and the United States of America. To achieve our mission,
we teach English and Spanish; offer educational advising;
promote different artistic – educational programs and
offer the services of the Abraham Lincoln Library.
Our
desire is to cooperate with the development of education
and culture in the community. We believe this is the key
element that has made the CBA the leading Institution
in teaching English and supporting and promoting the fine
arts since 1957. |
